Haleigh Rebecca Foster and Jared Harold McDougle were united in marriage at 4 p.m. April 14, 2012, at Bethlehem Baptist Church in Lula. The bride is the daughter of Rodney and Becky Foster of Lula. The groom is the son of Brad McDougle of Ottowa, Ohio, and LaDonna McDougle of Lula.

The Rev. Wayne Strickland and the Rev. Matthew Thomas performed the ceremony.

The bride was presented in marriage by her father. The bride’s sister-in-law Leslie McClure of Lula was matron of honor. The bride’s friend Joanna Kindhart of Pendleton, S.C., was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were the bride’s cousin Caroline Foster of Franklin, N.C., bride’s friends Ashley Carter of Lula, Jill Slaton of Maysville, Alyssa Renteria of Gainesville, and Heather Nordan of Lula. The bride’s niece Ava Foster of Mount Airy, and the groom’s niece Aubrey McClure of Lula, were the flower girls.

The groom’s friend Josh Griffin of Lula was the best man. Groomsmen were the groom’s brother Stacey McClure of Lula, groom’s friends Chris Carter of Lula, Wesley Cash of Alto, Ryan Chitwood of Alto, Kevin Reeves of Alto, and Matthew Turner of Lula. The groom’s cousin Ian Abernathy of Lula, and the bride’s nephew Sean Foster of Mount Airy were the ring bearers. Ushers were Adam Foster and Chris Posten.

Tammy Foster was the wedding coordinator. Renee Pass and Drema Watson kept the bride’s book.

The bride wore a sapphire and diamond ring made from both of her late grandfathers’ wedding bands.

The groom’s mother gave a rehearsal dinner at Bethlehem Baptist Church Fellowship Hall in Lula on the eve of the wedding.

The bride’s parents gave a reception at Jaemor Farm’s Barn in Alto following the ceremony.

Following a honeymoon to Myrtle Beach, S.C., the couple reside in Lula.
