Mr. Richard Charles Bennett Jr. and Mrs. Carol Bennett, and the late Mrs. Marianne Bennett of Waynesville, N.C., announce the engagement of their daughter Ms. Kimberly Kathleen Bennett to Mr. Keith Robert Walton, son of Mrs. Elizabeth and the late Dr. Kenneth Nelson Walton of Atlanta.

She is a 1976 graduate of Winter Park High School in Winter Park, Fla. She is employed as a travel consultant at American Express in Lawrenceville.

He graduated in 1981 from Emory University with a bachelor’s degree in marketing. He received a master’s degree at Georgia State University in law. He is employed as a marketing sales representative by Advantage Sales Marketing in Oakwood.

The couple plan to wed June 30, 2012, at St. Gabriel’s Episcopal Church in Oakwood.
