Beatrice Ramirez of Gainesville and Mario Cevallos of San Diego, Calif., announce the engagement of their daughter Elisa Cevallos to Chris Lyles, son of Jerry and Betty Lyles of Fayetteville, N.C.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Willie Mae Presley of Murrayville, and Blanche and the late Larry Agans Sr. of Gillsville.

She is a 2002 graduate of Johnson High School in Gainesville. She is employed as a pre-K assistant in Gainesville.

The groom-elect is the grandson of the late William and Martha Craddock of Albany, and the late Wilburn and Peggy Lyles of Alabama.

He is a 1997 graduate of Cramerton Christian Academy in Gastonia, N.C. He graduated in 2002 from Gaston College. He is employed as a minister by The Salvation Army in Washington, N.C.

The couple plan to wed June 23, 2012, at The Salvation Army in Lawrenceville.
