Jessica Kalen Lee and Norman William Scholz III were united in marriage at 6 p.m. Oct. 15, 2011, at The Cooley Farm in Clermont. The bride is the daughter of Tracy and Brian Pierce and Jim and Patti Lee all of Gainesville. The groom is the son of Bill and Ella Scholz of Murrayville.

The Rev. Greg Burgner performed the ceremony.

The bride was presented in marriage by her father. The bride’s sister Kirby Lee Russell of Knoxville, Tenn., was matron of honor. The bride’s sister Mallory Lee of Gainesville was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were the bride’s sister Madison Pierce of Gainesville, and friends Brittany Lorentz of Atlanta, Kellie Phillips of Athens, Greta Langhenry of Asheville, Ann Hollingshead of Eugene, Ore., and Laura Richelo of Atlanta. The bride’s cousin Caroline Newton of Clearwater, Fla., was the flower girl.

The groom’s friend Chris Dewitt of Athens was the best man. Groomsmen were the groom’s friends Blake Hinton of Gainesville, Blake Masters of Gainesville, Eric Lewis of Athens, Chris Perlera of Athens, Jordan Byers of Atlanta and Michael George of Atlanta. The bride’s brother Robby Lee of Gainesville was the ring bearer. Ushers were David Frink, Kevin Powell, Thomas Owen Sosebee and Conner Sosebee.

Shonda Cooley Sosebee and Elaine Matthews were the wedding coordinators. Lydia Glashouer kept the bride’s book.

The groom’s parents gave a rehearsal dinner at Antioch Methodist Church in Gainesville on the eve of the wedding.

The bride’s grandparents gave a reception at Cooley Farm in Clermont following the ceremony.

Following a honeymoon to Napa Valley, Calif., the couple reside in Athens.
