For the second straight night, rain prevented the Gwinnett Braves from completing their game, this time against the Columbus Clippers.
The teams were tied 1-1 with the G-Braves batting in the top of the fourth with two on and two out, when heavy rain forced a suspension of play.
The game will be resumed from the point of suspension at 5:35 p.m. today. The resumed game will be a nine-inning game followed by a seven-inning game, which will begin about 20 minutes later.
Monday night’s game in Toledo, Ohio, which was postponed due to rain, will be made up as part of a doubleheader on May 11 at Coolray Field. Both games will last seven innings.
