North Georgia College & State University swept North Carolina-Pembroke, 8-0 and 3-0 on Thursday in Dahlonega. Hilary Cox went 2 for 4 with a double and four RBIs in Game 1 for North Georgia, and Tiffanie Burns hit a two-run home run. Dickie threw a complete-game, two-hit shutout for North Georgia in Game 2. Dickie improved her record to a perfect 14-0 on the season. North Georgia hosts USC Aiken at 1 p.m. Saturday. |
