Tristy Lynn Stephens and Daniel Sylvester Gomez were united in marriage at 4 p.m. Feb. 18, 2012, at The Vineyards at Chappel Lodge in Austin, Texas. The bride is the daughter of Lynn Stephens Bengtson and Al Bengston of Lula, and David and Dusk Stephens, New Braunfels, Texas. The groom is the son of Dusty Benedict of Fairbanks, Alaska, and Joe and Pat Gomez of Del Valle, Texas.

The Rev. Walker Fenz performed the ceremony.

The bride was presented in marriage by her father. The bride’s brother Shane Stephens of Austin, Texas, was man of honor. Bridesmaid was the bride’s friend Traci Lynn Carmichael of St. Simons Island.

The groom’s brother Tommy Gomez of Del Valle, Texas, was the best man.

The bride wore her grandmother’s wedding ring and carried a handkerchief that belonged to her great-grandmother.

The bride and groom gave a reception at The Vineyards at Chappel Lodge in Austin, Texas, following the ceremony.

Following a honeymoon on a Caribbean cruise, the couple reside in Austin, Texas.
