Benefield pitches Johnson to win over Walnut Grove

OAKWOOD— Johnson’s A.J. Benefield knew exactly what his job was when he stepped to the plate in the fifth inning of a tie game against Walnut Grove on Wednesday. After Trae Wilson drew an intentional walk to load the bases, Benefield was just trying to put the ball in play and give the Knights the lead.
