Political impersonators will be in Gainesville

Comedy troupe to appear live for reality taping

The giants of American politics are headed to Gainesville this weekend.

Or at least it will look that way.

Some of the nation’s top political impersonators will be on hand at Carriage Auto Dealer Group, 2815 Brown’s Bridge Road in Gainesville, in time for a President’s Day celebration.

The nationally acclaimed Politicos Comedy Troupe will perform from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 18 at the dealership.

The group includes Barack Obama impersonator, Reggie Brown, joined by impersonators of Sarah Palin, Bill Clinton, George W. Bush, Michelle Obama,

Hillary Clinton, Newt Gingrich, Mitt Romney and Donald Trump.

Brown has appeared as a guest on programs seen on CNN, MSNBC, CBS and ABC.

The festivities will be filmed for a national reality show, featuring the Politicos. Members of the troupe have appeared on such shows as "Real Time with Bill Maher," Jay Leno, "Lopez Tonight," "Jimmy Kimmel Live," "Comedy Central," Disney Channel’s "Hannah Montana," "Good Morning America" and others.
