The North Georgia College & State University softball team was ranked No. 1 in the Peach Belt Conference preseason poll for the fourth straight year. After capturing three Peach Belt regular season and conference tournament championships, the Saints received eight first-place votes and two second-place votes. North Georgia opens their season against Tusculum College at 3 p.m. Feb. 11 in the first-ever NGCSU Loyal Blue Classic.
