Performer Kurt H. Sutton is packing up his instruments and narrative skills, and heading to Dahlonega to bring audiences "An Evening with Mark Twain."

He will grace the stage at the Historic Holly Theatre, 69 West Main St., Dahlonega for a single performance at 7 p.m. Nov. 11.

Sutton's act incorporates his own musical abilities with "Twain's hilarious witticisms, wisdom and love for music." He regularly tours the United States with his Twain performance. The family-friendly act is based on Sutton's original script and at times becomes a sing-a-long.

Sutton has performed as a musician, entertainer and speaker for three decades. He appeared in the movies, "Go Tell It on the Mountain" and "Night Shadows."

The performance is being presented in conjunction with The Dahlonega Literary Festival and is sponsored by the The Dahlonega Arts Council and North Georgia College and State University.
