G-Braves' Delgado improves to 2-0

The Gwinnett Braves allowed only four hits and defeated the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre Yannkees 1-0 on Thursday at PNC Field in Scranton, PA.

Randal Delgado improved to 2-0 in only his second start at the Triple-A level. The right-hander tossed seven three-hit shutout innings, walking two and striking out two.

Second baseman Brandon Hicks hit his 15th home run of the season in the second inning.

The G-Braves (66-53) trail the Durham Bulls (67-50) by two games in the International League South standings.
