POSTED: June 2, 2011 12:30 a.m.

Join the staff, volunteers and supporters of the Humane Society of Northeast Georgia for the 10th annual Putting for Pets Mini-Golf Tournament Sunday, June 12.

The annual tournament is a fundraising event for HSNEGA with all proceeds supporting the rescued, homeless animals in the shelter's care until they find new permanent homes.

Registration for the event begins at 1:30 p.m. and tee times start at 2 p.m. Registration for Putting for Pets is $15 per player or $50 for a foursome ($12.50 per player).

Pets are not allowed on the course, so be sure to leave Fluffy and Fido at home.

Awards for the tournament will be presented for first-place and runner-up male and female in 10 different age divisions.

Don't feel as skilled as Bob Barker? Not to worry, BINGO also will be offered for players who would like to participate.
