ATLANTA — Georgia Supreme Court Justice David Nahmias won a runoff election Tuesday to keep his post on the state’s top court and attorney Chris McFadden won a seat on the state Appeals Court.

Nahmias won 67 percent of the vote and Lawrenceville attorney Tammy Lynn Adkins won 33 percent.

In Hall County, Nahimias took 84.4 percent of the vote, with 2,792 voters selecting him, and Adkins getting 15.6 percent of the vote with 517 favorable ballots.

Hall voter turnout was 4.18 percent with 3,325 votes cast.

In the state Appeals Court runoff, McFadden got 62 percent of the vote and Marietta attorney Antoinette Davis received 38 percent.

McFadden received 2,437 votes in Hall County and Davis got 728 for a 77-23 percent margin.
