A motorcyclist was killed after striking a parked car in Hall County near the Gwinnett County line late Thursday, the Georgia State Patrol said.
Richard Corbin, 53, of Buford, died shortly after the accident, which occurred about 10:05 p.m. Thursday, the patrol said.
According to patrol reports, Corbin was northbound on Waterworks Road about three miles north of Buford when he struck a vehicle parked in the northbound lane facing south. Reports did not indicate whether the car was in the road or on the side of the road when the motorcycle struck it.
Information about the owner of the car was not available Friday.
No one else was injured in the accident.
