The Lakeview Academy football team lost at home to River Ridge on Friday night, 22-16.

Nick Drury had a rushing touchdown and Carter Ross had what Lakeview coach Matthew Gruhn described as a "circus catch" on a touchdown pass from senior quarterback Jackson Wells.

Mills Rogers added a field goal for Lakeview Academy (1-4).

"Matt Askounis played well for us," Gruhn said. "I know he had close to 100 yards rushing."

Lakeview will play host to North Cobb Christian at 7:30 p.m. Friday.
