Dennis and Patsy Thomas of Cleveland announce the engagement of their daughter Amanda Kay Thomas to Phillip Jason Reepe, son of Robert and Phyllis Reepe of Demorest.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of George and Helen Hood and Charlie Thomas Sr., all of Cleveland, and the late Myrtie Bell Thomas.

She is a 2002 graduate of White County High School in Cleveland. She graduated in 2005 from North Georgia College & State University in Dahlonega with a bachelor’s degree in science. She received a doctorate of physical therapy from North Georgia College & State University. She is employed as a physical therapist with Northeast Georgia Medical Center in Gainesville.

The groom-elect is the grandson of the late Woodrow and Reba Zimmerman, the late Robert Bethel and Annabelle Reepe.

He is a 2002 graduate of Habersham Central High School in Mount Airy. He is employed as a lineman with Habersham Electric Membership Corporation in Clarkesville.

The couple plan to wed April 10, 2010, at Fairfield Baptist Church in Demorest.
