The Buford High girls basketball team comes in at No. 2 this week in the Class AA state polls on prepcountry.com. Last week, the Lady Wolves (8-0) won games against Sequoyah, South Paulding, Creekview and Gainesville. In Class AAA, Flowery Branch is ranked No. 8 this week.

For the boys, North Hall is ranked No. 8 in Class AAA, and Dawson County stays in the polls in Class AA tied for No. 10 with Rabun County.
