A tip of the hat to the Flowery Branch High School cheerleaders. The football team receives most of the publicity and deservedly so, but not a word is printed in recognition of these wonderful young ladies. The enthusiasm they generate among the fans and players play an important part in the team victories.

These young ladies work hard at their practice each week to make their game performances as perfect as possible. Some of them will be graduating seniors and will no longer be a part of our local sports scene. To them, for all of their successes, I send my congratulations. For all the challenges ahead, I send them blessings. As for the remainder of the squad, welcome back next year and we will be there enjoying your performances.

We cannot leave unmentioned the coaches and band members. The coaches do an excellent job of molding these young ladies into the team that they are. Also the band members contribute to the enthusiasm during the games.

Lets give them all a hand. Applause, applause, applause.
