Josh Penland led the Wolves with 14 points en route to a 76-52 win against Walker last Wednesday.

Blanche Alverson scored 21 points to lead the Lady Wolves to a 57-31 win against North Hall last Saturday. Alverson also scored 13 points on Wednesday and Friday.

Chestatee
Senior guard Parker Smith scored 46 points Thursday, 34 points Friday and 33 points Saturday to lead the War Eagles to three consecutive victories.

Senior guard Kasey Smith scored 15 points, but it wasn’t enough as the Lady War Eagles fell to Landmark Christian 53-40 last Saturday.

East Hall
Senior guard Trevor Bishop scored 17 points and senior forward Ken Wise added 14 in the Vikings’ 83-62 win against West Hall last Wednesday.

Sada Wheeler scored 24 points and Tierra Benton finished with 20 in the Lady Vikings’ 60-49 win against West Hall last Friday.

Flowery Branch
Josh Barrett led the Falcons with 13 points, five assists and four steals in a 79-47 win against Lumpkin County last Friday night.

Senior Jessica Hart scored 16 points to lead the Lady Falcons to a 62-47 victory against Lumpkin County on Friday.

Gainesville
Guard George Manomano led the Red Elephants with 16 points in Gainesville’s 70-30 win against Gilmer last Wednesday. Martin Estes scored 17 in the Red Elephants’ 66-64 loss to North Hall on Friday.

Jaymee Carnes finished with 17 points and seven rebounds in Gainesville’s 47-35 win against Gilmer last Wednesday. She also had 19 points, 12 rebounds and two blocks in Gainesville’s 64-47 win against North Hall on Friday.

Jackson County
Freshman guard Ashley Skelton and freshman forward Brianna Drew combined for 27 points in the Lady Panthers’ 55-44 win against Winder-Barrow last Friday.

Johnson
Senior Colby Horne scored 11 points in the Knights’ 87-58 loss to East Hall last Friday.

Lakeview Academy
Senior David Pruett scored 21 points and Colin King added 19 in a 77-65 loss to Athens Academy last Saturday.

Janelle Francis hit a late 3-pointer to lead the Lady Lions to a 65-63 overtime victory against Social Circle last Friday. Megan Rochester scored 10 to lead the Lady Lions to a 33-31 win Saturday.

North Hall
Brannon Nix, a senior, led the Trojans with 14 points en route to a 66-64 overtime victory against Gainesville last Friday night.

Senior guard Elizabeth Williams scored 12 points and had five assists in the Lady Trojans’ 64-47 loss to Gainesville last Friday.

West Hall
Junior forward Jayla Moon scored 16 points, leading the Lady Spartans to a 46-43 win against Chestatee last Friday.

White County
Senior point guard Tyler Norman scored a game-high 28 points to lead the Warriors past the No. 9 ranked Falcons 66-64 last Friday at Flowery Branch High.

Wrestling

Chestatee
Freshman Julian Oligar (119-pounds) and junior Conner Comeaux each won championships in the Hall County Duals last Thursday at Chestatee High.

Flowery Branch
Freshman Zach Cannon (103-pounds), sophomore Danny Bell (112), junior Ben Yu (140) and seniors Justin Barfield (145), Corey Johnson (160) and Tom Pennington (215) each earned victories in the Hall County Duals last Thursday at Chestatee High.

Gainesville
Josh Jackson defeated Seth Hewell in the 285-pound championship, giving the Red Elephants their only individual championship in the Hall County Duals last Thursday at Chestatee High.

Johnson
Joey Wirsing (189) and Micah Mills (171) emerged as champions in the Hall County Duals last Thursday at Chestatee High.

North Hall
Nick Quinn (130) finished as North Hall’s lone individual champion in the Hall County Duals last Thursday at Chestatee High.

West Hall
Senior Colby Yates set the Hall County record for career wins, bringing his total to 193. Yates also earned the Hall County Duals’ Most Outstanding wrestler for 135-pounds-and-under. Chan Morris also earned an individual championship, with his first period pin in the final round of the Duals last Thursday at Chestatee High.
