Gainesville High senior wide receiver Tai-ler Jones made a big change in plans when he pledged a verbal commitment to Notre Dame on Sunday. Jones originally committed to Stanford in April.
Jones took an official visit to Notre Dame's campus over the weekend and saw the game against Southern Cal in person.
"I feel sure that Notre Dame is the best place for me," Jones said.
Jones' father, Andre, was an outside linebacker/defensive end for the Fighting Irish from 1987-91. Tai-ler says his plans are final and will enroll at Notre Dame in January.
