Trojans roll on the road, pummel Pickens 39-0

The North Hall football team remained undefeated in the subregion and scored its fourth win in a row Friday night, shutting out Pickens 39-0 in Jasper.

The Trojans' defense held the Dragons to 16 passing yards and 111 yards of total offense.

North Hall’s starting quarterback Nathan Jones went 3-for-5 for 75 yards and a 52-yard touchdown pass to fellow senior Trevor Ross, his second passing touchdown of the season.

Sophomore quarterback Kanler Coker was 6-for-8 with 108 yards for the Trojans (5-2, 3-0 Region 7A-AAA), Jordan Chaffin had nine carries for 99 yards and Peyton Wilhoite had six carries for 45 yards.

North Hall visits Chestatee at 7:30 p.m. Friday in Gainesville.
