Flowery Branch player takes part in showcase

Flowery Branch High senior Brad Stone took part in the Georgia Dugout Club Top 100 Baseball Showcase at North Cobb High on Monday and Tuesday.

The event was designed for the top underclassman in the state to play in front of college scouts. Stone finished the two-game showcase reaching base in five of six at bats, including getting hit by a pitch twice.

Players were selected to participate in the showcase by way of regional tryouts.
