Danville Braves outfielder and Gainesville High graduate Robby Hefflinger is currently leading the Appalachian League with four home runs and 12 RBIs, as of Monday.

Hefflinger is currently batting .321 in his first year with the Atlanta Braves’ minor league affiliate.

Danville is currently 4-2 and is tied for first in the Appalachian League’s East Division.

Hefflinger was a seventh-round selection by the Braves earlier this month in the 2009 MLB Draft.
