Gainesville: Mother wins $50K in lottery

Wendy Roberson, of Gainesville, plans to buy a new house for her four children after winning thousands in the lottery earlier this month. Roberson, 33, won $50,000 playing the Georgia Lottery instant game Jumbo Bucks Classic.

She purchased the ticket when she stopped for gas at the Petrofast Food, located at 4250 Price Road in Gainesville.

"I almost fell out," she said. "I had to hurry up and get home."

Roberson has four children, ages 14, 12, 9 and 2.
