Travelers lose road contest

The Gainesville Travelers lost 3-1 to the Windward Blue Braves on Thursday in Cumming. 
Jo Jo Bonet from Darton College pitched 5 complete innings for the Travelers (3-7), allowing only one hit. Justin Fordham of South Georgia College came in relief but was the victim of 3 errors in the sixth inning, allowing Windward to score three runs on one hit.
Patrick Henry of Valdosta State pitched the final two innings allowing no runs and only one hit. The Travelers pitching staff allowed only three hits.
The Travelers play again at 1 p.m. Saturday against the Windward Red Braves at West Forsyth High School.
The Travelers also announced today that they will play all their June Saturday and Sunday home games at Flowery Branch High School all their July home games.
