Flowery Branch High junior quarterback Connor Shaw picked up a scholarship offer from Stanford University on Thursday.
Cardinal coach Jim Harbaugh visited Flowery Branch’s campus to extend the offer to Falcons coach and Shaw’s father, Lee Shaw.
Connor Shaw has 2,025 passing yards with 21 touchdowns and 922 rushing yards for the Falcons heading into Saturday’s Class AAA state title game against Cairo.
Shaw also has an official offer on the table from Georgia Tech, where his older brother, Jaybo, is a backup quarterback.
