High school scoreboard: Chestatee girls basketball sneaks past Blessed Trinity in region showdown

Lindsey Caudell led Chestatee with 22 points in a 59-57 Region 7-AAAA win against Blessed Trinity on Tuesday night. Peri Satterfield totaled 14 points for the Lady War Eagles (17-3, 3-0 Region 7-AAAA), while teammate Brooklyn Popham posted 12 points.

Chestatee visits West Hall at 7 p.m. Friday in Oakwood.

LAKEVIEW ACADEMY GIRLS 83, COMMERCE GIRLS 23: Hanna Grogan led Lakeview Academy in scoring with 33 points in a Region 8-A win on Tuesday night in Gainesville.

Christen Copeland finished the night with 10 points for the Lady Lions (13-4, 5-0 region). Lakeview Academy host Towns County at 6 p.m. Saturday in Gainesville.

LAKEVIEW ACADEMY BOYS 84, COMMERCE BOYS 46: Lakeview Acadmy’s Tre Gober scored 27 points in a Region 8-A win on Tuesday night in Gainesville.

Drew Cottrell had 19 points for the Lions (10-4, 5-0 region), while teammate Josh Randolph posted 12 points.

Lakeview Academy visits Riverside Military at 6 p.m. Friday.

NORTH HALL GIRLS 74, LUMPKIN COUNTY GIRLS 53: Taylor Anne Kelley racked up 34 points and six assists for North Hall in a Region 7-AAA game on Tuesday night in Gainesville. Sadie Cleveland put up 14 points and grabbed 10 rebounds for the Lady Trojans (11-7, 4-2 region).

North Hall plays Greater Atlanta Christian at 7 p.m. Friday in Norcross.

NORTH HALL BOYS 65, LUMPKIN COUNTY BOYS 58: Alden Lewallen had 15 points for North Hall in a Region 7-AAA win. Noah Holman put up 12 points for the Trojans (11-7, 3-2 Region 7-AAA), and teammate Taylor Hanson scored 11 points.

Daniel Jackson finished with 10 points for North Hall. The Trojans visit Greater Atlanta Christian at 8:30 p.m. Friday in Norcross.

BUFORD GIRLS 75, JOHNSON GIRLS 10: Buford’s Tory Ozment had 13 points in a Region 8-AAAAA game on Tuesday night in Buford. Rachel Dobbs posted 12 points for the Lady Wolves (13-0, 5-0 region), while teammate Jessica Nelson finished the night with 10 points.

Buford plays Cedar Shoals at 6 p.m. Friday in Buford.

BANKS COUNTY BOYS 90, RABUN COUNTY BOYS 67: Banks County’s Carl Cleveland had a double-double with 18 points and 11 rebounds Tuesday night. Kahmal Wiley was right behind him in scoring with a double-double, scoring 17 points and grabbing 11 rebounds for the Leopards (11-4).

David Martin had 16 points for Banks County. Darrius Bonds had a double-double for the Leopards with 10 points and 11 assists. Banks County’s Dylann Nix finished the night with 11 points. Banks County plays Putnam County at 8:30 p.m. Friday in Eatonton.
