The band performed its halftime show, "Good vs. Evil." At the competition in Newnan, the band earned first place for majorettes, color guard, percussion and drum majors. The North Hall Marching Trojans completed their most successful competition season in six years on Nov. 3 at Newnan High School in Newnan. The band and percussion placed first in class AAA. The guard finished third in the class and Sara Beth Jones finished second in the class for drum majors. The size of the band would have normally put them in Class A, but director Alan Kirkland chose to register them in Class AAA, with bands up to twice their size. The band ranked fifth out of 18 for the entire day, while the percussion section finished third out of 18 for the entire competition.
