Buford came from behind to defeat Blessed Trinity 14-10 on Friday in Buford.

The Wolves (8-0, 5-0 Region 6-AA) trailed 10-7 late in the fourth quarter with Blessed Trinity driving. The Titans took the ball to the Buford 1-yard line, but got stopped on fourth down. The No. 1 team in the state in Class AA then drove 99 yards for a touchdown to win the game.

The winning drive was capped off by Cody Getz, who got the handoff on fourth down and took it up the middle for 41 yards, giving Buford the lead with 34 seconds left.

Habersham Cnt. 6, Rockdale Co. 0
The Raiders got a field goal in the first and fourth quarters to give them the win Friday in Conyers.
Josh Welborn made the first field goal for Habersham Central (5-4, 5-4 Region 8-AAAA) from 22 yards out, and Sam Cantrell knocked down the second from 37 yards out.

Jefferson 47, Rabun Co. 0
The Dragons remained unbeaten with a shutout win Friday night in Jefferson.

Virgil Appleby led the way for Jefferson (8-0, 7-0 Region 8-AA) with 150 rushing yards and a touchdown. Darius Minor completed 19-of-23 passes for 151 yards and a pair of touchdowns.

Jefferson plays host to North Oconee for the Region 8-AA championship at 7:30 p.m. in Jefferson.

Banks Co. 34, Fannin Co. 13
The Leopards compiled 317 yards rushing in their win Friday in Homer. Justin Beasley led the way with 207 yards rushing and three touchdowns for Banks County (4-4, 4-3 Region 8-AA).

White Co. 34, Lumpkin Co. 0
The Warriors were led by Chantz Segraves (12-of-14 passes for 140 yards two total touchdowns).
Blake Limbaugh, Tyler Dotson, and Robert Jones each added a touchdown for White County (4-4, 2-2 Region 7A-AAA).

Dawson Co. 17, Union Co. 14 OT
After Cody Tobias blocked a Union County field goal attempt in overtime, Dawson County kicker David Scully made a field goal from 27 yards out to win it for the Tigers (3-5, 2-4 Region 8-AA).

Ethan Brown had a pair of interceptions, and Chase Gilreath had a touchdown for Dawson County on a 65-yard run.

Elbert Co. 25, Jackson Co. 23
The Panthers fell to 1-6-1 overall and 0-5 in Region 8-AAA with a loss to Elbert County (4-4, 2-3) on Friday in Elberton.
