Vandals strike neighborhood

POSTED: August 13, 2014 10:48 p.m.

Hall County investigators are asking for community help after vandalism was reported in a South Hall County neighborhood.

Law enforcement received calls Wednesday morning about vandalism inside the Hunters Pointe subdivision, off Cash Road in Flowery Branch.

“(Deputies) learned that several vehicles, one residence and a street sign were vandalized with black spray paint,” said Deputy Nicole Bailes, spokeswoman for the Hall County Sheriff’s Office. Five separate reports indicate car tags were painted over, hubcaps were painted black, and the side of a residence had graffiti.

Bailes said it’s believed to be the work of juveniles.

“This incident appeared sporadic and that no one individual or property owner was the target,” she said via email. “There are no indications that this was gang related, either.”

There were no suspects as of Wednesday afternoon. Anyone with information is encouraged to call 770-531-6878; anonymous tipsters can call 770-503-3232.
