Have you ever heard of anyone wrestling a Russian bear and surviving? If you come to North Hall Community Center’s “Brawl in the Hall” on Saturday, you can see the man who did.

“The Russian Nightmare,” aka Nikita Koloff, along with a handful of other wrestlers will battle each other as part of the Hall County Sheriff’s Office “Brawl in the Hall.” The other wrestlers stem from Mid Atlantic Wrestling and include Buff “The Stuff” Bagwell, Rick Steiner and “Big Poppa Pump” Scott Steiner and many more MACW Superstars.

The wrestlers will fight this weekend to raise money benefiting the Georgia Sheriff’s Youth Homes, which seeks to help 80 children find a safe home this year.

“This event offers another option from our regular 5-kilometer race,” Hall County Sheriff’s deputy Chad Mann said, referencing the agency’s recent Hot Pursuit earlier in the summer. “We realize that not everyone is a runner and this gives others with a soft spot for children a chance to help in another way.”

General admission is $10 and ringside seats are $20. Doors open at 8 p.m. Tickets are available at the Hall County Sheriff’s Office at 610 Main St. SW, Gainesville, as well as at the door.
